1.Regulatory status and supervision
Structured Brick Wealth Bank operates as a digital private banking platform under the oversight of its Global Compliance Office, applying the prudential standards expected of a chartered deposit-taking institution.
Our governance framework is modelled on internationally recognised standards, including the Basel Committee principles for operational resilience, ISO 27001 information security controls, and the FATF recommendations on financial crime prevention.
- Board-level Risk & Audit Committee with independent oversight
- Annual independent review of controls, capital adequacy and liquidity
- Segregation of duties between customer operations, treasury and compliance
- Charter, routing and licensing particulars available on written request
2.Deposit protection and client asset segregation
Eligible customer deposits are recorded in segregated ledgers and reconciled daily. Client balances are never commingled with operating funds, and reconciliation breaks are escalated to the Chief Risk Officer within one business day.
Coverage limits, eligibility rules and the treatment of joint and business accounts are described in the Deposit Account Agreement, which forms part of your customer terms.
3.Financial crime, AML and sanctions
We maintain a risk-based anti-money-laundering programme covering customer due diligence, ongoing monitoring, sanctions screening and suspicious activity reporting.
Transfers may be held, delayed or declined where screening identifies a potential match, where documentation is outstanding, or where the transaction falls outside your assessed risk profile.
- Identity verification before account activation (see Licenses & compliance)
- Real-time screening of counterparties against sanctions and PEP lists
- Enhanced due diligence for high-value and cross-border activity
- Administrator approval required for large-value transfers
4.Customer agreements
Your relationship with the bank is governed by a set of agreements that apply according to the products you hold. Where documents conflict, the product-specific agreement prevails over the general terms.
- Deposit Account Agreement — account opening, statements, fees and closure
- Cardholder Agreement — card issuance, controls, limits and liability
- Payment Services Terms — domestic, SWIFT and internal transfers
- Lending Agreement — loan pricing, amortisation and default handling
- Investment Terms — fixed deposits, portfolios and maturity treatment
- Electronic Communications Consent — digital delivery of notices
5.Fees, rates and financial disclosures
Fee schedules, interest rates and foreign-exchange margins are published in-app before you confirm any instruction, and again on your statement. Foreign-exchange conversions apply the quoted rate plus a disclosed spread at the moment of execution.
Interest on deposits and investments accrues on the terms shown at the time of booking. Lending rates, arrangement fees and the total cost of credit are disclosed in your loan offer before signature.
6.Complaints and dispute resolution
Complaints are acknowledged within two business days and resolved within fifteen business days where possible. If we require longer, we will write to you explaining why and when to expect a final response.
If you remain dissatisfied, our final response will explain your escalation options, including independent dispute resolution and the governing law and venue applicable to your account.
7.Changes to these documents
We may amend these documents to reflect changes in law, regulation, security practice or our products. Material changes are notified at least thirty days in advance through in-app notification and email, except where an immediate change is required to protect customers.
